Amadeus Innovates Customer Service with Red Hat Openshift Container Platform

Amadeus, a leading global travel technology provider, needed a highly available, flexible computing platform that could handle infrastructure fluctuations and help its customers respond quickly to changing demand. Working with Red Hat, Amadeus chose Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, along with related Red Hat middleware and consulting expertise, to build a new application infrastructure for its travel services.

Red Hat helped Amadeus create a private cloud-based platform over 18 months, with agile teams using automation, container orchestration, and integrated middleware to modernize operations. The new solution is expected to reduce system latency, improve platform availability, streamline administration, and accelerate time to market; it also enables applications to redeploy during failures and better support peak traffic and customer service.
