Acutenet Helps Ontario’s Front-Line Health Providers Offer Quality Care

AcuteNet, a healthcare software and services provider based in Mississauga, Ontario, needed a way to give 8,000 front-line providers access to patient data anytime, anywhere, while scaling storage securely and meeting healthcare compliance requirements. To meet this challenge, AcuteNet worked with Red Hat and used Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server on Dell hardware as the foundation for a private cloud supporting its SaaS offering.

Red Hat helped AcuteNet implement the new private cloud solution, enabling the company to scale to more than 2 million patients and host over 5 million clinical assessment records. The result was more efficient workflows, digitized patient forms for mobile access, full system integration to eliminate shadow IT, and lower hardware and total cost of ownership.
