Acuity Systems helps US government gain insight from big data

Acuity Systems, a technology solutions provider and Red Hat partner, needed to help the U.S. General Services Administration unify massive, siloed data sources so leaders could make better decisions. Using Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat JBoss Data Virtualization, Red Hat JBoss Fuse, and Red Hat JBoss BPM Suite, Acuity built an open source big data analytics platform called Data to Decisions (D2D).

With Red Hat, Acuity created a stable, flexible, and secure platform that aggregates data from more than 100 sources and 190 data sets into a unified cloud image. The result was easier, decision-ready data access across departments, faster analytics, and the ability to scale as needs grow, while supporting innovation and improving government security.
