Barnardo’s wins 2014 UK App Design Award with Red C for Wud U? app

Barnardo's, a leading children's charity, faced the challenge of creating an educational tool to effectively communicate the dangers of sexual exploitation to young people in an engaging and non-didactic manner. They partnered with vendor Red C to develop a mobile app solution to address this need.

Red C developed the award-winning 'Wud U?' app, which used interactive real-life scenarios and engaging illustrations to educate users. The solution included social media integration to help spread awareness. As a result, the app received a highly positive public reception and won the 2014 UK App Design Award in the 'Not For Profit' category, establishing a new standard for educational tools in the sector.
