Pride in London, a volunteer-led non-profit organization, needed to build a brand new mobile app from scratch for its 2018 festival. Their challenge was to create an inclusive and accessible digital experience to help over a million visitors discover events and navigate the parade. They partnered with the vendor Red Badger to develop this React Native application.

Red Badger assembled a cross-functional volunteer team that delivered an end-to-end mobile product in six months. The solution was built as an open source project using React Native. The results were significant, with the app achieving 21,000+ downloads, a 50% increase from the previous year, and receiving 5-star ratings on both iOS and Android. Red Badger's work also met AA accessibility standards and was featured as App of the Day on the App Store.
