ACI Worldwide, the Universal Payments company, faced complex, high-volume billing challenges after rapid growth and multiple acquisitions: three separate billing systems, more than 80 distinct usage-tracking platforms, frequent contract changes, periodic price escalations and heavy reliance on spreadsheets and manual processes that hindered accurate billing, analysis and forecasting. To address this, ACI turned to RecVue and its monetization platform for contract management and billing.
RecVue integrated ACI’s usage transactions into a single platform, automated the order-to-invoice cycle, and standardized data for analysis across roughly 250 million transactions per month. As a result, RecVue helped ACI combine three billing systems, manage 100,000 pricing models, reduce time-to-invoice by 52%, cut manual intervention by 73%, and improve invoice clarity and accuracy (targeting 99% accuracy up from 97%), enabling greater scalability and better revenue visibility.
