CBS Interactive, a division of CBS Corporation and the world’s largest publisher of premium digital content, needed a way to offer a simple, consistent payment experience across many sites and apps (including CBS All Access, CBSN, CNET, GameSpot and more). The challenge was to aggregate subscription billing onto a single platform that could be implemented quickly, be intuitive for internal teams, meet PCI and risk-management requirements, and reliably handle large traffic spikes around major content launches.

CBS Interactive selected Recurly and migrated properties iteratively using a methodical onboarding process. A single subscription platform created one workflow for PCI and risk, built a community of internal subject-matter experts, and enabled responsive customer-success support and dedicated monitoring for major events.
