Kela, the Social Insurance Institution of Finland, needed a faster, fairer way to screen large candidate pools—especially for trainee and internship roles—while modernizing its employer image. To meet this challenge Kela adopted Recright’s video interview solution to evaluate more applicants quickly and reduce reliance on CVs alone.
Using Recright’s video interviewing platform (conducting 182 video interviews), Kela made first‑round screening markedly more efficient, gave line managers better insight into candidates’ motivation and fit, and reduced the number of in‑person interviews. The approach improved candidate experience—notably among younger applicants—and helped Kela focus face‑to‑face interviews on the best fits.
