ManoMano Defends Against Underground Data Marketplaces With Elite Security Intelligence

ManoMano, Europe’s leading DIY and gardening e‑commerce marketplace, faced rising threats from bad bots, DDoS, credential theft and phishing as online shopping surged. CISO Fabien Lemarchand needed a threat intelligence solution to build an offensive, people‑centric security program and selected Recorded Future’s security intelligence platform to identify and anticipate the most relevant cyber risks.

Recorded Future combined analytics and human expertise to deliver real‑time alerts on typosquat domains, vulnerability context, third‑party risk, and dark‑web credential leaks—allowing ManoMano to act quickly (including using Recorded Future to gain Genesis Store access within minutes). The team identified six compromised seller accounts (which they bought and remediated), hardened critical endpoints for remote work, and now plan deeper integration of Recorded Future to prioritize alerts and incidents with real‑time risk scores.
