Case Study: Stockholm Public Transportation achieves rapid vulnerability detection and accelerated patching with Recorded Future

A Recorded Future Case Study

Preview of the Stockholm Public Transportation Case Study

Elite Security Intelligence Drives Stockholm Public Transportation’s Need for Speed

Stockholm Public Transportation, the agency that runs metros, buses, trains and ferries for more than 2.4 million residents around Stockholm, faced a critical visibility gap: outsourced IT infrastructure meant slow, reactive vulnerability information and a “need for speed” to protect its densely connected operational technology. After learning about Recorded Future, the team selected Recorded Future’s security intelligence to continuously monitor their tech stack and close the detection gap.

Recorded Future implemented real‑time intelligence and risk scoring across IPs, domains, hashes and CVEs, delivering alerts about relevant exploits roughly 11 days before they appear in the NVD and enabling fast, data-driven prioritization. As a result, Stockholm Public Transportation reduced disruptive off‑cycle patches, accelerated remediation decisions, improved board-level cyber risk reporting, and is expanding Recorded Future’s intelligence to third‑party risk workflows.
