SolarEdge, a global solar technology company with operations in 140 countries, needed a better way to secure its expanding SaaS environment across Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. With thousands of configurations, 550+ connected SaaS apps, and heavy reliance on manual checks, the team struggled with configuration drift, incomplete coverage, and exposure risks related to permissions, MFA gaps, and offboarded users. Reco’s SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM) platform was brought in to help SolarEdge move from reactive alert chasing to continuous, proactive security.

Reco quickly discovered risky apps, weak MFA adoption, modified access policies, and lingering access for former users, then provided direct “Recommendations” and “How to Fix” guidance to speed remediation. SolarEdge enforced MFA, restricted conditional access changes, removed legacy authentication, cleaned up former employee access, and eliminated about 30 risky or unused SaaS apps. With Reco, SolarEdge improved its SaaS security posture, reduced breach risk, achieved continuous monitoring and compliance support, and saved an estimated 20 hours per week in investigation and issue resolution.
