Young Scot, the national youth information and citizenship charity for Scotland, sought to make its website more inclusive after receiving direct feedback from young people requesting accessible tools and language support, particularly for Ukrainian refugees. To meet this challenge, they implemented the Recite Me assistive toolbar on their main website.

The Recite Me solution provided a suite of customizable accessibility features, including text-to-speech, translation into over 100 languages, and options to adjust styling. This implementation led to significant engagement, with the toolbar being used by over 27,830 unique users in a 12-month period, generating 131,964 page views. The tool was praised by users for normalizing accessibility aids and providing an inclusive online experience for all young people in Scotland.
