Case Study: Scottish Commission for Learning Disability achieves improved website accessibility and inclusion with Recite Me

A Recite Me Case Study

Preview of the Scottish Commission for Learning Disability Case Study

Scottish Commission for Learning Disability - Customer Case Study

The Scottish Commission for Learning Disability (SCLD) needed to make its websites, including The Keys to Life, accessible and easy to use for people with learning disabilities and all other visitors by providing customizable accessibility tools. To achieve this, SCLD partnered with Recite Me to deliver an on-site accessibility solution.

Recite Me’s accessibility software was installed as an assistive toolbar offering a screen reader, styling and reading support, plus a translation tool with over 100 languages and 35 text‑to‑speech voices, working across all devices and accessible via the site’s “Accessibility Tools” link. Recite Me’s implementation lets visitors customise their experience without specialist software, helping SCLD extend access to information and advance its inclusion goals.
