Recruitment Industry Disability initiative (RIDI) - Customer Case Study

Recruitment Industry Disability initiative (RIDI) is a campaign that drives change in recruitment to remove barriers faced by disabled jobseekers. When RIDI launched a new website in 2017 it needed to ensure the site was fully accessible to the widest possible audience, reflecting its mission to build disability confidence across the recruitment sector. To meet this brief RIDI partnered with Recite Me and implemented the Recite Me accessibility and language toolbar.

Recite Me’s toolbar was added to the RIDI website to let visitors customise the site for different accessibility and language needs—offering audio, styling, reading and translation features and full compatibility with screen readers and other assistive technologies. The Recite Me implementation ensured RIDI’s site was usable by people with sight loss, mobility or cognitive impairments, reinforcing RIDI’s commitment to inclusive design and providing a practical, demonstrable example of accessibility best practice.
