New College Durham - Customer Case Study

New College Durham, a leading further and higher education provider in the North East of England (rated in the top 10% for FE achievement and student satisfaction), needed to make its website accessible to a growing, diverse student body from across the UK and the world. To reduce barriers to online content and provide language support, New College Durham selected Recite Me to address accessibility and translation needs.

Recite Me was implemented as an on-site accessibility and translation toolbar offering audio/text-to-speech, styling controls, a dictionary and thesaurus, and multilingual translation across devices. The Recite Me toolbar was quick and easy to install and New College Durham immediately saw visitors using the tool, improving access to course information and supporting the college’s commitment to inclusion.
