A Recite Me Case Study

Middlesex Cricket - Customer Case Study

Middlesex Cricket, one of England’s oldest and most respected first-class counties based at Lord’s, had recently introduced new disabled membership categories and complimentary Personal Assistants’ passes and wanted to extend that accessibility online. To support fans and website visitors with disabilities, learning difficulties or English as a second language, Middlesex Cricket partnered with Recite Me to add accessibility assistive technology to their official website.

Recite Me implemented a clean toolbar that provides text-to-speech, fully customisable styling, reading aids and a translation tool covering over 100 languages (including 35 text-to-speech voices), making all site content immediately accessible at the click of a button. By installing Recite Me, Middlesex Cricket became the first cricket club to offer this level of online accessibility, enabling supporters to read club news, view fixtures and buy tickets and merchandise more easily and improving how fans connect with the club.
