A Recite Me Case Study
Kick It Out, the UK charity founded to tackle racism and discrimination in football, wanted to raise awareness of diversity and inclusion online — particularly for young fans, people with disabilities, the visually impaired, and those who speak English as a second language. To make their “The Next Generation” campaign content accessible to all visitors, Kick It Out partnered with Recite Me and implemented its assistive toolbar on the Kick It Out website.
Recite Me’s solution gives visitors immediate accessibility controls — customizable styling (background, font, size and colour), a built‑in screen reader with adjustable voice settings, reading tools (ruler, screen mask, magnifier, margins, dictionary) and on‑demand translation of web content into over 100 languages with 35 text‑to‑speech voices. The result, as Kick It Out reported, is that their equality resources are now widely available and immediately accessible to a broader, more diverse audience, helping break down barriers for disabled fans and international visitors.
