Kent Union - Customer Case Study

Kent Union, the student union for the University of Kent representing 20,000 students, needed to ensure its website could support a growing and increasingly diverse student body, including international enrollees. To reduce barriers to online content and improve usability for all visitors, Kent Union partnered with Recite Me and added the Recite Me assistive technology toolbar to their site.

Recite Me’s toolbar provides font and size adjustments, colour and styling changes, text-to-speech, a full dictionary and thesaurus, and a 100+ language translation tool so users can customise content to their needs. The Recite Me solution gives Kent Union’s students and other visitors greater access to online services and, according to Kent Union, improves the overall digital experience by reducing accessibility and language barriers across the website.
