Gateshead Council, the local authority serving a diverse population of over 200,000, needed to ensure its website (www.gateshead.gov.uk) met legal accessibility obligations and was usable by a wider range of residents and businesses. The Recite Me implementation made the site more accessible and compliant with government regulations, improved usability for diverse users, and was praised by Gateshead Council staff for its features and easy installation.
