EqualEngineers, founded by Dr Mark McBride-Wright, works to make the UK’s engineering and technology sectors more diverse and inclusive. They needed their website — especially their careers fairs and online jobs board — to be fully accessible so people with disabilities and non-native English speakers could find, apply for, and attend opportunities; to achieve this they partnered with Recite Me and implemented its web accessibility solution.

Recite Me’s one-click toolbar gives visitors text and visual customization (text size, fonts, colours/contrast), reading aids (ruler, magnifier, screen mask, spacing, dictionary) and real-time translation plus 35 text-to-speech voices across 100+ languages. By adding Recite Me, EqualEngineers made their content and recruitment portal more usable for a wider audience, quickly integrating accessibility into their platform and allowing visitors to choose the accessibility options they need.
