EdPlace helps 51,000 students access 1 million pages with Recite Me

EdPlace, an at-home learning and revision app, was founded to ensure students have access to engaging educational resources. The company's challenge was to make its online platform accessible to all students, including the 286,000 children in the UK with a learning disability who may require additional support. To meet this need, EdPlace partnered with Recite Me to implement its assistive technology.

The solution was the implementation of the Recite Me toolbar on the EdPlace website. This provided students with tools like text-to-speech, reading aids, and an online translator to customize their experience. The results were significant; since its launch in May 2020, the Recite Me toolbar has been used by 51,000 students to read and understand over one million pages of content, helping every child succeed in their learning.
