Capital City College Group - Customer Case Study

Capital City College Group, London’s largest further education college group (including City and Islington College, Westminster Kingsway College and the College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London), needed to make their growing, diverse student and stakeholder base fully able to access website content. To remove barriers and deliver inclusive online experiences, Capital City College Group implemented the Recite Me website toolbar across its college sites.

Recite Me’s toolbar—installed with a simple code addition and working across all devices—provides font and styling adjustments, text-to-speech, a full dictionary and thesaurus, and translation tools. As a result, applicants, students and staff reported improved understanding of complex information (such as fees and entry requirements) in their native languages, and users with visual impairments gained greater control over site appearance. Recite Me has enabled the College Group to meet diverse accessibility needs quickly and without extra cost to users.
