Wakaya Perfection, a direct sales company founded by David H. Gilmour and led by Co‑Founder Todd Smith, needed a better way to manage distributors and visitors who regularly pick up orders at its Lindon, Utah, warehouse and corporate offices. Vice President of Operations Mike Casperson sought an iPad‑compatible visitor management system to replace paper sign‑ins and improve visibility across multiple floors, and selected The Receptionist (The Receptionist for iPad).
Wakaya Perfection implemented The Receptionist in April 2018 and now uses the iPad kiosk to capture digital signatures, log visitor purposes, and automatically notify employees throughout the building. The Receptionist eliminated the need to staff a dedicated front desk, improved staff awareness of arrivals anywhere on the premises, and made visitor pickup and appointments far more manageable for the company.
