Viva MedSuites is a new medical coworking space in Scottsdale, AZ, founded by John Groberg to give doctors flexible, affordable workspace. Facing the high cost and complexity of hiring a dedicated receptionist to serve many part-time schedules, Viva MedSuites evaluated virtual receptionist options and selected The Receptionist for iPad to handle patient check-in.

The Receptionist installed two iPad kiosks in the lobby so patients can self-check-in, select their doctor, and trigger automatic text notifications to providers; the system was also configured to handle UPS and FedEx deliveries. By using The Receptionist, Viva MedSuites streamlined front-desk operations, avoided the expense of a full-time receptionist, enabled remote management of users, and improved responsiveness between patients and clinicians.
