Robinson Bradshaw, a North Carolina–based corporate law firm founded in 1960, needed a way to protect client confidentiality and tighten office security without using paper sign‑in sheets. To solve that problem they selected The Receptionist’s The iPad Receptionist automated check‑in system to provide private, digital visitor sign‑in across their offices.

The Receptionist implemented The iPad Receptionist at all three Robinson Bradshaw locations — Chapel Hill (about 15 attorneys), Charlotte (100+ attorneys) and Rock Hill — enabling private iPad sign‑ins, automatic email/text notifications to attorneys, and a hybrid receptionist workflow in the large Charlotte office (which uses two iPads for concurrent sign‑ins). The deployment improved recordkeeping of who’s coming and going, preserved client privacy, and The Receptionist’s responsive support even released a record‑deletion feature within a week after a customer request.
