America’s Health Center, a Gilbert, Arizona coworking clinic founded by Nick Porterfield to lower overhead for independent healthcare providers, faced rising operating costs and wanted to eliminate the expense of a full‑time front‑desk employee. Searching for a digital check‑in solution, Porterfield adopted The Receptionist’s product, The Receptionist for iPad, after learning it matched his needs.

The Receptionist for iPad was installed as the center’s visitor management system, alerting providers when patients arrive and offering a simple self‑check‑in flow (tap to check in, choose provider, type name). The Receptionist now serves 14 providers at America’s Health Center, helping remove the cost of a dedicated receptionist, keep monthly overheads low, and support the clinic’s rapid growth since opening in January 2017.
