How a woodworking brand is nailing personalization with Rebuy

KM Tools, a woodworking brand founded by Jonathan Katz-Moses, had already built a loyal customer base and strong order volume, but it was leaving revenue on the table with buried cross-sells, an unoptimized search experience, and missed opportunities to connect complementary products. Working with Rebuy Engine through Pilothouse Digital, the team set out to improve discovery, merchandising, and conversion across the shopping journey.

Rebuy Engine implemented Smart Search, Smart Cart cross-sells, Dynamic Bundles, exit-intent popups, and post-purchase upsells to make it easier for shoppers to find, buy, and add more relevant products. The results were strong: KM Tools saw a 32.43% increase in AOV, a 20% lift in bottom-line revenue, 15% additional revenue through Smart Search, and 40% of search purchases happening without a product page visit. Rebuy Engine also helped influence nearly 20% of completed purchases through search and 37.93% of confirmed orders through bundles.
