FinTech Provider Migrates to AWS, Upgrades Security for Web Applications and APIs

Pango is a Mobile SmartCity FinTech provider (mypango.com) that faced constant attacks—SQL injection, DDoS, brute-force logins—across its web, mobile and native app APIs while migrating development, staging, and production to AWS. To strengthen web and API security during the migration, Pango selected Reblaze and its cloud-native security platform.

Reblaze was deployed in a dedicated VPC under Pango’s AWS account, using report-only mode to learn traffic patterns (initial accuracy ~75–85%) and be tuned for each application and API during a staged migration. Once live, Reblaze’s next-gen WAF, multilayer DDoS protection and advanced bot/API defenses blocked hostile traffic in the cloud before it reached Pango’s services, exposed and helped fix faulty responses, and protected Pango’s apps and APIs throughout the move.
