Telecom Cook Islands, the largest provider of fixed phone, mobile, and broadband services across the South Pacific’s remote Cook Islands, needed a way for its IT team to support staff spread across offices on multiple islands. With employees working from Rarotonga and 11 outer islands, the company required an easy-to-deploy, cross-platform remote support solution that would also help enable working from home. RealVNC remote access software, specifically VNC Connect with an Enterprise subscription, was selected to meet that challenge.
RealVNC implemented its enterprise remote access solution so Telecom Cook Islands’ IT staff could resolve issues remotely, access workstations and telecom equipment securely, and support multiple users without leaving their desks. The result was significantly reduced downtime, faster helpdesk resolution, and improved service for staff and customers. RealVNC also enabled access to work files from home and supported 100 remote computer licenses, helping Telecom Cook Islands increase uptime and improve overall efficiency.
