Garnier partnered with Realtime Media to support an Earth Day gift-with-purchase campaign that asked customers to upload images of their receipts to earn a coupon for a future purchase. The challenge was to make the upload process mobile-friendly and to validate receipts so only purchases from participating retailers qualified.
Realtime Media implemented a multi-channel receipt validation campaign with a custom, mobile-optimized landing page for on-site uploads and an enhanced validation engine that recognized store-specific receipts during a multi-phase retailer rollout. The campaign scanned 2,500+ receipts and captured unique retailer receipt IDs from 29 retailers, demonstrating effective validation and broad retailer coverage.
