Essie partnered with Realtime Media to run a National Nail Polish Day photo contest, inviting consumers to upload a picture of their favorite manicure for daily prizes and a grand prize of 100 polishes. The campaign aimed to boost engagement and generate branded user‑generated content through a shareable, promotional experience.
Realtime Media used its Custom Filter Generator, image upload and filter-generation features, UGC Image Gallery and Admin Tool to brand, moderate, display and enable sharing of entries. The promotion produced more than 3,300 UGC submissions and drove 55% of traffic from referral links, demonstrating strong engagement and viral reach.
