Elixir Strings partnered with Realtime Media to promote its new Optiweb electric guitar strings. Facing goals to increase new product awareness, drive purchase and trial, and build social presence, Elixir launched the Gear Up campaign featuring a sweepstakes with unique product codes and a UGC component using the hashtag #ElixirOptiwebSweeps.
Realtime Media implemented a custom sweepstakes and UGC build that asked buyers to enter a code from Optiweb strings and upload photos for bonus entries; the campaign produced 4,000+ registrations, 12,000+ sweepstakes entries, an opt‑in rate above 50%, and 3x repeat visits—driving trial, purchases, and stronger social engagement for Elixir Strings.
