CVS Pharmacy wanted to boost coupon use and visibility by letting shoppers save and “clip” digital coupons for later use. To launch this e-mail coupon delivery program and grow its customer database, CVS Pharmacy engaged Realtime Media’s e-mail deployment system for clipped coupons and savings notifications.

Realtime Media implemented an e-mail coupon deployment plus a unique single‑use code generation engine (with expiration dates) so coupons could be saved, tracked and redeemed once—also helping expand CVS Pharmacy’s CRM. The program drove more than 85,000 coupons clipped and saw 10% of users redeem multiple coupons, with customers earning up to $50 in ExtraBucks Rewards.
