Shoeline.com, an online shoe retailer, wanted a faster way to create urgency in its email marketing and improve click through rates for upcoming footwear sales. The company needed to launch a consumer email campaign quickly and had limited time to train its design team on a new technology.
Working with RealTime Email, Shoeline.com added a countdown timer from the vendor’s RealTime Email suite into its campaign within 10 to 15 minutes. RealTime Email helped the company use real-time data at the moment of open, and Shoeline.com saw a 78% increase in click through rates in its Friday emails compared with the Monday campaign without the timer.
