Golfsmith, the world’s largest specialty golf retailer, wanted a unique way to engage consumers by email around a major industry event. The company had a short timeline to create a campaign and needed a real time email program that had not been done before.

Golfsmith worked with RealTime Email to build a two-part campaign using countdown timers and web scrape technology. The first email counted down to the tournament start, and the second delivered live leaderboard updates during the event, including top five golfer standings and, on the final day, each golfer’s hole information. The campaign helped Golfsmith build consumer engagement, create brand buzz, and establish itself as an innovator and thought leader in the industry.
