Express drives high conversion rates and revenue with Liveclicker’s RealTime Email

Express, a specialty apparel and accessories retailer, wanted to add video to email to support revenue growth, higher conversion from video viewers, and stronger brand engagement. The team had wanted to use video in email for years, but lacked technical support across mail clients and had few examples showing whether it would work.

Using RealTime Email’s embed code, Express ran a split test for its Fall 2011 Collection Launch with video in email for one segment and a static image for the other. The RealTime Email version drove 55% more revenue per email delivered and a 33% higher conversion rate, and 66.5% of the audience received full video with audio in their email client.
