LNP Media Group, the publisher of LancasterOnline.com and the LNP newspaper in Lancaster, Pa., needed to grow recruitment advertising revenue and make it easier for employers to place job ads online. Using RealMatch’s online tools and self-service ad placement, the company aimed to improve monetization while attracting both new and returning advertisers.
RealMatch helped LNP Media Group launch bundled print-and-digital packages, raise online ad prices, and add upsells like Social Boost and priority listings. The result was about $22,000 in additional monthly revenue, roughly 400 new ads, and an increase in boost posting profit of $35,000 per month versus its previous vendor. Self-service revenue also grew sharply, from about $15,000 for all of 2013 to an average of $10,000 per month in 2014.
