OceanMind, a not-for-profit organisation protecting the world’s fisheries, grew rapidly from eight staff to more than 40 in just two years, creating the need for stronger day-to-day HR support, better people management, and guidance on wellbeing, teamwork, and cross-border employment issues. The organisation retained Reality HR to help manage these challenges as it matured and expanded internationally.
Reality HR provided outsourced HR support including employee handbooks, GDPR compliance, advice on wellbeing, line management development, and competency frameworks for recruitment, alongside support for remote working during the pandemic. Reality HR also delivered Insights Discovery sessions to improve communication and collaboration across a diverse team, helping OceanMind strengthen its culture and align its people practices as the organisation continued to grow.
