Decoded, a London-based technology training company with offices in New York and Asia, was growing quickly and introduced a new line management structure for the first time. As the business expanded, its senior team needed support to build effective management practices, including feedback, mentoring, and staff development. Reality HR provided ongoing HR support and manager training to help Decoded strengthen its people management approach.

Reality HR adapted its usual face-to-face training into virtual sessions during lockdown and delivered a “vertical slice” approach, mixing SLT members, middle managers, and newer line managers in the same groups. This helped create shared learning, improve follow-through, and build a stronger community of managers across the business. The result was a highly positive programme that left Decoded’s managers feeling more supported and cohesive, with Reality HR continuing to provide monthly training and outsourced HR support.
