Vamp Heels, a direct-to-consumer brand of high-heeled dance shoes, experienced a significant challenge with product sizing. As an online-only retailer, customers were unable to try shoes on before purchasing, which led to a high volume of returns and customer service inquiries related to sizing. Despite implementing traditional methods like size charts and printable guides, the company struggled with these issues and sought a solution. They partnered with the vendor ReaLift to address this problem.

ReaLift implemented its web-based footwear sizing solution for Vamp Heels. This tool helped shoppers determine their ideal shoe size during the online purchase process. The results, measured after 75 days, were substantial. Vamp Heels saw a 35% decrease in return rates and a 24.5% increase in shoe orders. Furthermore, 41% of shoppers used the ReaLift tool to complete their purchase, leading to a 37% overall decrease in returns.
