Phenom Elite, a company founded in 2013 that creates gloves, footwear, and apparel for athletes, faced a significant challenge with the sizing of their footwear. Customer feedback indicated their shoes were consistently too large, which led to a high volume of returns and exchanges that created added costs. To address this, they partnered with the vendor ReaLift to implement a web-based footwear sizing solution.

ReaLift's solution, called RealSize, helped shoppers find the correct shoe size on their first attempt. After five months of using the tool, Phenom Elite saw substantial improvements, including a 42% decrease in return rates and a 22% higher conversion rate for footwear. Furthermore, 41% of shoppers used the tool to make a purchase, and those purchases had a 23% higher average order value compared to the sitewide average.
