G.H. Bass EU - Customer Case Study

G.H. Bass EU, the European distributor for the heritage footwear brand, faced a significant challenge with high return rates on its online orders. These returns were primarily driven by customers ordering incorrect shoe sizes without the benefit of trying them on in a store, which hindered the growth of its direct-to-consumer channel. To address this, the company partnered with the vendor ReaLift to implement its RealFoot sizing solution.

ReaLift provided a web-based footwear sizing tool to help shoppers find their ideal size. This solution led to a substantial 39.3% decrease in return rates and a 38% increase in footwear orders after just four months. The tool was widely adopted, with over 14,500 scans and 32% of purchasers using it to inform their buying decision. G.H. Bass EU reported that ReaLift's tool successfully resolved their sizing challenges and greatly improved operational efficiency.
