Spelman College raises $3.75 million and modernizes student engagement with Ready Education

Spelman College, a historically Black liberal arts college for women, faced challenges in capturing the full student experience, quantifying the value of co-curricular programming, and modernizing its communication to meet students' mobile-first preferences. To address these issues, the college partnered with Ready Education and implemented its CampusGroups platform to gain a more connected and data-driven approach to student engagement.

Ready Education's solution provided Spelman with engagement dashboards and a mobile app to better understand student involvement and communicate more effectively. This data-driven approach helped the college's Student Affairs division raise $3.75 million by better demonstrating the value of its programs. The platform also supports targeted interventions for special student populations and is being developed to include a co-curricular transcript for career readiness.
