Kyoei Sangyo deploys 4-language reception robots with ReadSpeaker

Kyoei Sangyo, a Japanese industrial machinery and equipment company, sought to enhance its reception and information robot systems. The challenge was to provide a multilingual, interactive voice for its humanoid robots to offer guidance in commercial facilities. To address this, Kyoei Sangyo implemented ReadSpeaker's text-to-speech (TTS) software.

ReadSpeaker provided its speechEngine SDK, which features simple APIs that allow for efficient development and the dynamic creation of speech from text. This solution enabled the robots, named RecepROID and ConcieROID, to interact with and provide information to users in real-time using high-quality voices across four languages: Japanese, English, Chinese, and Korean. By leveraging ReadSpeaker's technology, Kyoei Sangyo successfully deployed a multilingual robotic concierge system, improving the user experience at various facilities.
