How DriveWealth used ReadMe to revamp their documentation and workflows

DriveWealth, a financial technology company founded in 2012, used ReadMe to improve its developer documentation as it released new features, products, and services more frequently. Its manual process for writing API descriptions by hand made updates tedious and time-consuming, and partners sometimes saw outdated information that created confusion and support tickets.

With ReadMe, DriveWealth moved to a documentation hub for internal employees and external partners that could be updated through API or a WYSIWYG editor. The team also used documentation versioning to keep new partners on the latest API while preserving access to legacy versions, and it began using Owlbot AI and Discussions to support developer community engagement.
