Aegon, one of the world’s leading financial services providers, needed a faster, more convenient way to re-verify existing clients without relying on face-to-face meetings and paperwork. To support its mobile-first banking strategy, Aegon chose ReadID’s NFC-based identity verification technology and the ReadID Ready app for remote re-KYC.

ReadID helped Aegon roll out the app in just six weeks, customizing it to match Aegon’s branding and integrating it into the bank’s online client flow. The new process was easier for clients and staff, and it improved conversion rates significantly, with around 60% to 70% of users now completing the verification flow.
