A Reach Case Study
Marshall University’s Marshall Recreation Center needed to increase awareness of health and fitness and deliver accurate, real‑time scheduling and communications to students and members. Marshall Rec has partnered with Reach since 2010 and used Reach’s software platform to introduce integrated iPad room schedules, web calendars, a mobile app with push notifications, touchscreens and digital signage.
Reach implemented the integrated solution (room schedules, web calendars, mobile app and digital signage) in Spring 2014, streamlining planning and marketing and connecting users to live, integrated information. The mobile app’s push notifications replaced the facility’s text messaging and have already proven more effective; overall the Reach deployment elevated service levels and expanded to other campuses such as Cleveland State and the University of Alabama–Birmingham.
