Disney|ABC faced a massive scaling challenge: in just a few years the group moved from a few feeds to distributing content across hundreds of international platforms, territories and languages, generating thousands of unique versions. That growth produced expensive, manual workflows, many vendors, and complex versioning requirements — all while needing to integrate with their internal media API (Media Monorail) and give many internal teams access to content and delivery tools.
The solution was a content-inventory PaaS with manifest-driven automation, self-service partner configuration, and inventory planning that replaced manual steps. Centralized dashboards and management-by-exception tools let a small internal team (4–6 people) configure partners in hours, track clipping and analytics, and rerun fixes in minutes. The result: the most automated program-delivery system in the industry — processing roughly 200K shows across 100+ platforms and hundreds of profiles with near-zero rejections and vastly reduced operational overhead.
