Eindhoven Airport halves airport charge re-modelling time with RDC
Eindhoven Airport wanted to re-model its airport charges to encourage airlines to use quieter, less polluting aircraft, increase utilization during low-noise hours, reduce its CO2 and NOx footprint, and lessen nuisance for the local community. To achieve this, the airport partnered with vendor RDC.
RDC provided its LOOP and AirportCharges solutions to address the challenge. LOOP supplied the accurate aircraft and engine data required for the analysis, while AirportCharges enabled the airport to run scenarios and understand the market positioning of its new fee structure. According to Eindhoven Airport's Head of Aviation Development & Partnerships, the process would have taken at least twice as long without RDC's tools, highlighting a significant efficiency gain.
