A Razorfish Case Study
The Denver Botanic Gardens sought to educate visitors on its scientific research and conservation efforts within its new Science Pyramid. They partnered with Razorfish's Second Story to create a permanent exhibit that would connect people with plants and shift their perspective on nature.
Razorfish designed and built the "Learning to See" exhibit, an immersive installation featuring interactive, tree-like pylons and boulder-shaped tables that mirrored the Colorado landscape. This solution used technology to bridge the interior space with the natural world outside. As a result, the Gardens saw its annual visitorship increase by over 500,000, making it the most popular garden in North America in 2014, and the exhibit won multiple design awards.
